Shugaban ƴan daba na Najeriya

Henry Okah (an haife shi a shekara ta 1965, jihar Legas, Najeriya ) shi ne shugaban ƴan daba na Najeriya na ƙungiyar ƴan ta'adan yankin Niger Delta (MEND), ya musanta jagorancin ƙungiyar.[1]

MEND ta ɗauki alhakin kai hare-hare kan kamfanonin mai da ke aiki a yankin Niger Delta, ta hanyar amfani da zagon ƙasa, yaƙin neman zaɓe ko kuma sace ma'aikatan mai na ƙasashen waje. Burin ‘yan tawayen dai shi ne taɓarɓarewa sha’anin mai na ƙasashen waje a yankin Neja-Delta, waɗanda suka ce suna cin gajiyar al’ummar yankin. MEND ta sanar da kafa kungiyar a farkon shekarar 2006 tare da kai hare-hare da dama a kan ababen more rayuwa na man fetur na Najeriya waɗanda suka rage yawan amfanin yau da kullum da kusan kashi ɗaya cikin hudu,[2] da kuma wani kamfen na zamani na kafafen yaɗa labarai da suka haɗa da sakonnin sakonnin imel don yin daidai da hare-haren.[1] Ƙungiyar ta yi suna a kanun labarai a Najeriya lokacin da ta sanar da cewa za ta shiga tattaunawar zaman lafiya idan tsohon shugaban ƙasar Amurka Jimmy Carter ko jarumi George Clooney ya shiga tsakani.[1] Ta kuma yi ikirarin cewa ƙungiyar na duba yiwuwar tsagaita buɗe wuta bayan ta samu "kara" daga shugaban Amurka Barack Obama, wanda ya musanta yin hakan tun da farko.[1]

An kama Okah a Angola kuma aka mayar da shi Najeriya a watan Fabrairun 2008, kuma an tuhume shi da laifuffuka 62 da suka haɗa da cin amanar kasa, ta'addanci, mallakar makamai ba bisa ƙa'ida ba da safarar makamai, ya fuskanci hukuncin kisa.[2] Ya yi iƙirarin cewa shi ne ke kan gaba ga mutanen yankin Delta da ba su da haƙƙi, wadanda suke ganin ba su amfana da man da ake haƙowa a karkashinsu yankin su.[1] Lauyan Okah, Femi Falana, ya yi iƙirarin cewa gwamnatin Najeriya ta yi tayin siyan shi ta hanyar ba da izinin mallakar wasu tubalan mai, duk da ya ki.[1] Shari’ar wadda aka fara tun a watan Afrilun 2008, an yi ta ne a asirce, domin Shugaba Umaru ‘Yar’aduwa ya ce zai yi illa ga tsaron ƙasa.[1][2] Lauyoyin da ke kare Okah, sun ce shari’ar da aka rufe ta tauye masa haƙƙin sa ne don haka suka buƙaci babbar kotun da ta soke hukuncin.[2]

A martaninta, a ranar 26 ga watan Mayu, 2008, ƙungiyar MEND ta kai hari kan bututun Royal Dutch Shell a yankin Delta, kuma ta yi iƙirarin kashe sojojin Najeriya 11.[1] Yayin da gwamnatin Najeriyar ta musanta mutuwar, dai-dai lokacin ne farashin man fetur ya tashi da dala ɗaya a kasuwannin duniya cikin sa'o'i da harin.[1] Wani saƙon imel daga MEND ya yi gargaɗin "hare-haren [su]… ramuwar gayya ce ga kama shi da ba dole ba."[1]

A watan Yulin 2009, lauyan Okah ya sanar da cewa ya amince da afuwar da gwamnatin Najeriya ta yi wa duk wani ɗan tawaye da ke son ajiye makamansa, a wani yunƙuri na kawo ƙarshen hare-haren da ake kai wa masana'antar mai ɗin.[3] Babban jami'in MEND "Janar" Boyloaf ya yi iƙirarin cewa idan aka saki Okah to tabbas ƙungiyar za ta ajiye makamanta, kuma Jomo Gbomo, kakakin ƙungiyar ya goyi bayan matakin Okah tun da rashin lafiyarsa ta gaza.[3] Sai dai wasu shugabannin MEND sun ce za su yi watsi da afuwar.[4] A ranar 13 ga watan Yuli, 2009, Alƙali Mohammed Liman ya sanar da cewa an saki Okah, inda ya shaida masa da kansa "Bayan bitar abin da babban lauyan ya ce, ka zama mutum mai ƴanci a halin yanzu."[4]

An sake kama Okah a birnin Johannesburg na ƙasar Afrika ta Kudu, a ranar Asabar, 2 ga watan watan Oktoba, bayan harin ranar ‘yancin kai na Najeriya na 2010 wanda ya yi sanadin mutuwar mutane 12. Ya yi iƙirarin cewa bai san komai ba game da waɗannan hare-haren bam-baman.[ana buƙatar hujja]

A ranar Litinin 21 ga watan Junairu, wata kotu a ƙasar Afirka ta kudu ta samu Okah da laifuka 13 da suka haɗa da ta’addanci harin bam da ya hallaka mutane 12 a Abuja a ranar 1 ga watan Oktoba, 2010. Da yake yanke hukuncin, alkali Nels Claassen ya ce, "Na kai ga yanke shawarar cewa jihar ta tabbatar da laifin da ake zargin sa akai."[5]

An yanke masa hukuncin ɗaurin shekaru 24 a gidan yari kuma a halin yanzu yana yin wannan hukuncin a gidan gyaran hali na Ebongweni da ke a garin Kokstad a Afirka ta Kudu. A duk lokacin da ake shari’ar ya ci gaba da cewa ba shi da laifi yana mai cewa shari’ar ta biyo bayan ƙin amincewa da kalaman shugaban Najeriya Goodluck Jonathan da kuma zargin da shugabanin Arewacin Najeriya ya yi na ranar ƴancin kai na ranar 1 ga watan Oktoba.[6]
