A ranar 18 ga Afrilu 2020, gungun 'yan daba sun kashe mutane 47 a wasu kauyuka a cikin Jihar Katsina, arewacin Najeriya.[1] Ɗaruruwan mutane ne aka kashe a cikin shekarar da ta gabata a arewa maso yammacin Najeriya ta hanyar gungun ƴan daba da ƴan fashi da ke aiwatar da fashi, satar mutane, kisan kai, da satar shanu.[1] Irin wannan harin ya taba faruwa a jihar Katsina a watan Fabrairun shekarar 2020.[2]

Maharan, wadanda ke dauke da bindigogi ƙirar AK-47, sun yi kisan gilla a lokaci ɗaya a Danmusa, Dutsin-Ma da Safana tsakanin 12:30 na safe zuwa 3 na safe.[1] Kimanin maza 300 ɗauke da makamai ne suka shiga kai hare-hare a ƙauyukan tare da neman abinci da sauran kayayyakin taimako da aka bayar a wani ɓangare na ƙoƙarin gwamnati na taimakawa yayin kulle-kullen saboda cutar coronavirus.

An tura mambobin ‘Yan Sanda, Soja, Sojan Sama, da Jami'an farin kaya da kuma Ma’aikatar Harkokin Jiha zuwa yankin. Ministan Harkokin Jama'a Mohammed Dingyadi ya fitar da sanarwa ta bakin Sakataren yada labaransa Osaigbovo Ehisienmen don nuna alhininsa ga gwamnati, mutanen jihar da dangin da abin ya shafa, ya kuma ce za a gano waɗanda suka aikata wannan danyen aikin kuma za a magance su. Shugaban kasa Muhammadu Buhari ya yi Allah wadai da harin ya kuma umarci hukumomin tsaro da kada su huta ko kuma rage masu tsaro wanda ya yi imanin zai haifar da wani yanayi da zai ba da damar ci gaba da ayyukan 'yan ta'addan.

Shugaban Ƙungiyar Masu Aikin Masana'antu da Tsaro na Najeriya, Dokta Ona Ekhomu ya bayyana cewa ya kamata a dora alhakin hare-haren a kan Kwamishinan 'yan sanda, Kwamandan' yan sanda na Jihar Katsina da Kwamandan Soji a jihar, saboda gazawar tsaro.[3]
