Yarjejeniyar Greentree Agreement [1] yarjejeniya ce ta musamman wacce ta warware rikicin kan iyakar Kamaru da Najeriya game da yankin Bakassi dake da arziƙin man fetur da gas. [2] Rigimar ta samo asali ne tun daga 1913; [3] 1981, 1994, da 1996 an yi artabu tsakanin Najeriya da Kamaru akan Bakassi. [2] An mika karar zuwa Kotun Duniya kuma a ranar 10 ga watan Oktoban 2002 ne kotun Duniya ta yanke hukunci da ta Kamaru fifici. [4] [5]

A ranar 12 ga watan Yunin 2006, shugaban Najeriya Olusegun Obasanjo da shugaban Ƙasar Kamaru Paul Biya suka rattaba hannu kan yarjejeniyar Greentree game da janye sojoji da mika ikon yankin. An tsaida kwanaki sittin don janye sojojin Najeriya amma an ba da damar tsawaita wa'adin kwanaki 30 yayin da aka baiwa Najeriya damar ci gaba da rike hukumomin farar hula da 'yan sanda a Bakassi na tsawon shekaru biyu. [2] Kotun kasa da kasa ta yanke hukunci kan takaddamar da ke tsakanin kasashen biyu, inda ta yanke hukuncinda ya fifita kasar Kamaru. Gwamnatin Najeriya ta bi umarnin Kotun kuma ta janye sojojinta, sakamakon haɗarin da ke tattare da rasa tallafin da ƙasashen ƙetare ke bayarwa. [6]

An kafa kwamitin bin diddigin wanda ya kunshi wakilai daga Ƙasar Kamaru, Najeriya, Majalisar Dinkin Duniya, Jamus, Amurka, Faransa da Ƙasar Burtaniya, don sanya ido kan yadda ake aiwatar da yarjejeniyar. [2]

A ranar 13 ga watan Agustan 2013, kwamitin sulhu na Majalisar Dinkin Duniya ta bayyana cewa tana maraba da kawo zaman lafiya kwanaki biyu gabanin mika ikon yankin Bakassi. [7]
