Sunday Matthew Essang (an haife shi 24 Disamba 1940) shi ne Ministan Kudi na Tarayyar Najeriya a lokacin jamhuriya ta biyu ta kasa (1979 zuwa 1983).[1]

An haifi Essang a ranar 24 ga Disamba, 1940, a Oron, wani birni a Jihar Cross-River, Najeriya. Esang ya halarci Kwalejin King, Lagos. Ya sami B.Sc. Digiri na tattalin arziki daga Jami'ar Ibadan a 1964. Essang ya ci gaba da samun digirinsa na biyu da digirin digirgir a Jami'ar Michigan, Amurka.[2]

Essang shi ne Shugaban Sashen Tattalin Arziki na Jami'ar Calabar daga 1976 zuwa 1979 kafin a nada shi mukamin.[3] Ya kuma kasance shugaban tsangayar ilimin zamantakewa a jami'ar Calabar. An nada Esang a matsayin ministan kudi a zamanin gwamnatin Shehu Shagari (1979-1983).
