Sam Uzochukwu malami ne ɗan Najeriya kuma masani kan waƙoƙin baka na ƴan ƙabilar Igbo.[1]

gyara sasheAn haifi Uzochukwu a shekarar 1940 a Ebenato, karamar hukumar Nnewi ta kudu, jihar Anambra, Najeriya. Bayan ya yi Digiri na biyu a Harshen Turanci daga Jami'ar Obafemi Awolowo, Ile-Ife (1966), ya koma Nazarin Igbo.[2] Uzochukwu ya samu digirin digirgir ne a jami’ar Legas a shekarar 1981 inda ya karanci adabin baka na Igbo. Ya zauna a Jami’ar Legas, inda ya zama Farfesa kuma Shugaban Sashen Nazarin Afirka da Asiya.
Ya yi aiki wajen tattarawa da rubuta waƙoƙin baka na Igbo, musamman wakokin jana'iza, kuma ya wallafa ayyukan kirkire-kirkire da na ban mamaki a harshen Igbo.[1] An wallafa Festschrift-(littafin girmamawa) domin shi a shekarar 2008.[3]
Uzochukwu shi ne Farfesa na farko a duk faɗin Mbanese - wanda shine babban sunan gamayyar al'ummomi biyar (cikin goma) da suka haɗa da karamar hukumar Nnewi ta Kudu a jihar Anambra. Waɗannan al’ummomin sune Ebenato, Ezinifite, Akwaihedi, Osumenyi da Utuh.[4] A shekarar 2019, Farfesa Sam ya ƙaddamar da Gidauniyar Ilimi mai zurfi, sannan kuma ya bayyana tarihin rayuwarsa mai taken A Single Palmnut[5]
