SONITEL (Société Nigérienne des Télécommunications, 'Nigerien Telecommunications Society') ita ce French: Société Nigérienne des Télécommunications tarho da sadarwa na ƙasa na Najer daga ƙarshen shekarun 1990 har zuwa tsakiyar shekarun 2010. Bayan Kundin Tsarin Mulki na Jamhuriyar Nijar ta Biyar 1999, za a mallaki SONITEL,[2] faced a series of protests and strikes by its workers over pay and conditions,[3] and accumulated debts of 40 billion FCFA despite a 140% increase in user fees.[4] kuma a cikin shekara ta 2001, bayan wani zagaye na kyauta mara nasara, an sayar da yawancin kamfanonin. Ministan Sadarwa ya bayyana cewa tsarin ya " gaza", kuma gwamnati za ta riƙe kashi 100% a cikin SONITEL, kuma ta kafa sabuwar gwamnatin kamfanin. Wani yunƙuri na sayar da kamfanonin biyu ga asusun dukiyar Libya a cikin 2011 ya gaza saboda farkon yakin basasar Libya na farko. An kammala mallakar ƙasa a cikin shekara ta 2012.l

A ranar 28 ga Satumba 2016, gwamnatin Najeriya ta haɗu da SONITEL tare da SahelCom don ƙirƙirar Niger Telecoms.
