Homowo
Homowo biki ne na girbi da mutanen Ga na Ghana ke yi. Ana fara bikin a watan Agusta tare da shuka albarkatun gona (galibi masara da doya) kafin lokacin damina ya fara. Yayin bikin, suna yin rawa mai suna Kpanlogo. Mutanen Ga sun yi bikin Homowo don tunawa da yunwar da ta taɓa faruwa a tarihin su a Ghana kafin mulkin mallaka.[1]

gyara sasheKalmar Homowo (Homo - yunwa, wo -hoot) na iya nufin "ɗora (ko sauƙaƙa) ga yunwa" a cikin harshen Ga.[2] Al'adar Homowo ta fara ne da lokacin yunwa wanda ke haifar da yunwa saboda gazawar ruwan damina da amfanin gona ke buƙata a Babban yankin Accra, inda mutanen Ga ke zaune. Lokacin da ruwan sama ya dawo daidai, mutanen Ga sun yi bikin ta ta ƙirƙirar bikin Homowo, saboda haka sunansa da ma'anarsa. An yi bikin Homowo sosai a duk garuruwan jihar Ga tare da bukukuwan da suka ƙare a Gamashie. Ana fara shagalin biki da shuka masara, wanda za a yi amfani da shi wajen shirya abincin bikin mai suna Kpokpoi ko Kpekple. A cikin wannan lokacin, an hana ko hana yin surutu tunda an yi imanin cewa zai hana balagar amfanin gona. Ana cin abincin tare da Palm Nut Soup kuma ana yayyafa shi a cikin garin. Shugabannin gargajiya da shugabannin iyali ne suke yin haka. Duk shugabannin gidan suna yayyafa "kpokpoi" a gidan danginsu. Bikin ya haɗa da tafiya kan tituna da tituna suna bugun ganga, rera waƙa, zanen fuska mai daɗi, waƙa da raye -rayen gargajiya. A wannan rana galibi ana yawan zirga -zirgar ababen hawa kuma galibi ana toshe hanyoyi don saukar da bikin. Kodayake al'adar Ga ce, ana maraba da sauran kabilun da yawa don suma su shiga cikin bikin.- Wasu daga cikin garuruwan da ke bikin Homowo sune La, Teshie, Teshie Nungua,[3] Osu, Ga-Mashie, Tema, Prampram, da Ningo.
