An haifi Addo a ranar 24 ga Disamba 1960 a Asarekrom a yankin Ashanti. Ta yi digirin farko a fannin lissafi daga Jami’ar Ilimi ta Winneba.[3]

Kafin zama 'yar majalisar dokokin Ghana a 2012. Ta yi aiki a matsayin malami a makarantar Ejuraman Anglican.[1]

Addo ita ce tsohuwar 'yar majalisar wakilai ta sabuwar jam'iyyar Patriotic mai wakiltar mazabar Manso-Nkwanta.[4][5][6] A shekarar 2012, ta tsaya takara a babban zaben kasar kuma ta yi nasara. Ta samu kuri'u 29,500 wanda ke nuna kashi 77.03% na yawan kuri'un da aka kada kuma ta doke sauran 'yan takarar da suka hada da Alex Kwame Bonsu, Seth Amakye da Rita Fosuah.[7] A shekarar 2016, ta sha kaye a zaben 'yan majalisar dokoki na New Patriotic Party, don haka ba ta samu damar wakiltar jam'iyyar a babban zaben Ghana na 2016 ba.[8][9] A cikin 2020, ta sake yin rashin nasara a zaben majalisar dokoki na New Patriotic Party.[10]
