Geoffrey Feni Ogwaro, wani lokaci ana kiransa Jeff Ogwaro, ɗan luwaɗi ne ɗan Yuganda kuma ɗan luwadi mai fafutukar kare hakkin ɗan Adam. [1] [2] Ya yi aiki a matsayin kodineta na Ƙungiyar Ƙungiyoyin Jama'a akan 'Yancin Ɗan Adam da Dokar Tsarin Mulki da mataimakin mai koyarwa a Jami'ar Makerere. [3] [4]

Ogwaro, tun yana matashin ɗan luwaɗi ne ya fara fafutukar kare hakkin ‘yan luwaɗi lokacin da ya samu damar yin aiki da kungiyar kare hakkin bil’adama. Sunansa ya bayyana a shafin farko na jaridar Red Pepper a ranar 1 ga watan Maris a matsayin ɗan luwaɗi, kwanaki kaɗan bayan shugaban Uganda Yoweri Museveni ya sanya hannu kan dokar hana luwadi.[5] Ogwaro ya yi aiki a kan ayyukan fafutuka da yawa na LGBT tare da 'Yan tsiraru na Jima'i Uganda, Dokar 'Yan Gudun Hijira da Cibiyar 'Yancin Ɗan Adam.[6]

Ogwaro ya halarci Makarantar Koyon Shari’a ta Jami’ar Makerere inda ya koyar a matsayin mataimakin mai koyarwa jim kaɗan bayan kammala karatunsa. Ya sami digirinsa a fannin Kare Haƙƙin Ɗan Adam da Dimokuraɗiyya daga Jami'ar Pretoria a shekara ta 2015..[7][8][9]

A cikin shekara ta 2012, Ogwaro, tare da wasu masu fafutukar kare hakkin bil adama na Uganda, sakatariyar harkokin wajen Amurka ta lokacin Hillary Clinton, sun amince da aikinsu na adawa da daftarin dokar da ta kira hukuncin kisa ga mutanen LGBT.[10] Ogwaro ya zo na biyu a fagen kare hakkin ɗan Adam da dimokuraɗiyya ta hanyar gasar ɗaukar hoto a cibiyar kare hakkin ɗan Adam, Jami'ar Pretoria. [11]
