Bayan ta shafe mafi yawan rayuwarta a matsayin mai fafutuka a Scotland, Baldeh ta koma Gambiya a shekarar 2018. Ta kafa kungiyar Women in Liberation and Leadership (WILL) bayan ta koma Gambiya.[8] Ta kuma gudanar da bita da tarurruka a Gambiya da kuma Cibiyar Shari'a ta Kasa da Kasa.[9]
A watan Maris na 2020, Baldeh ta sami lambar yabo ta She saboda gagarumar gudummawar da ta bayar wajen karfafa 'yan mata da mata a Gambiya. A watan Janairun 2020, Jakadan Burtaniya a Gambiya Sharon Wardle ya ba ta Order of the British Empire a sakamakon haka na 2019 Special Honours don nuna godiya ga kokarin da ta yi da kuma alkawurran da suka shafi bayar da shawarar 'yan tsiraru da kabilun Scotland.
