Elizabeth Frances Baaba Sey (née Biney) (Afrilu 21, 1927 - 1991)[1] ita ce mace ta farko da ta kammala digiri a Jami'ar Ghana. Bayan ta halarci Makarantar Sakandare ta Achimota a Accra,[2] an shigar da a lokacin Kwalejin Jami'ar Gold Coast, yanzu Jami'ar Ghana, a shekarar 1950 kuma ta kammala karatun digiri na BA a shekara ta 1953.[3]

Bayan ta kammala ta zama Jami'ar Ilimi ta Sekondi. Ta kasance Shugabar Sashen Turanci a Makarantar Achimota har zuwa lokacin da ta yi ritaya a shekarar 1987. Bugu da ƙari, ta yi aiki a kwamitin gwamnonin makarantar Ghana International School har zuwa rasuwarta. Ta koyar a makarantu da dama da suka hada da Wesley Girls High School, Cape Coast; Makarantar Sakandare ta Saint Louis a Kumasi; da Makarantar Achimota da ke Accra.[4] Jami'ar Ghana ta sanya sunan wani ɗakin zama mai ɗakuna 400 Elizabeth Sey Hall a shekarar 2011, a matsayin girmamawa don tunawa da gudunmawar da ta bayar a makarantar. [5][3][6]

Mijinta shine Samuel Sey, Shugaban Bankin Barclays Ghana Limited sannan kuma Shugaban Majalisar Jami'ar Ghana. Ya mutu a ranar 10 ga watan Afrilu, 1991. Suna da yara biyu.[7]
