Derrick Oduro (an haife shi 23 ga Fabrairu 1958) ɗan siyasan Ghana ne wanda kuma ma'aikacin soja ne mai ritaya tare da sojojin Ghana kuma yana da matsayi na ƙwararru. Mamba ne a New Patriotic Party kuma mataimakin ministan tsaro a Ghana.[1][2][3][4][5] Sannan kuma dan majalisa ne mai wakiltar mazabar Nkoranza ta Arewa a yankin Brong Ahafo.[6]

Hon. Oduro ya fito daga Dromankese a yankin Brong Ahafo na Ghana. Ya yi digirin digirgir a fannin mulki da jagoranci daga Cibiyar Gudanarwa da Gudanar da Jama'a ta Ghana (GIMPA). Har ila yau, yana da Diploma a fannin Kudi na Jama'a daga Cibiyar Horar da Akanta, da Takaddun shaida daga Jami'ar Cranfield.[7]

Aiki da siyasa

Hon. Oduro ya fara aikin bursar ne a kwalejin kasuwanci ta Akosas daga shekarar 1977 zuwa 1979. Bayan haka kuma ya shiga aikin soja daga 1979 zuwa 2005. Ya yi ritaya daga aikin soja[8] kuma ya zama shugaban majalisar gundumar Nkoranza daga 2005 zuwa 2007. A shekarar 2007, karkashin tikitin Sabuwar Jam’iyyar Kishin Kasa, Hon. Derrick Oduro ya doke abokan hamayyarsa daga wasu jam’iyyun siyasa domin wakiltar mazabar Nkoranza ta Arewa. Kuma ya wakilci mazabar sa har yau.[9]

Ya yi takara a babban zaben Ghana na 2020 akan tikitin New Patriotic Party kuma ya sha kaye a hannun Joseph Kwasi Mensah na National Democratic Congress. Joseph Mensah ya samu kuri'u 15,124 na sahihin kuri'un da aka kada yayin da Oduro ya samu kuri'u 10,978.[10]
