Buddha (Ge'ez: ቡዳ) (ko Bouda), a cikin addinin gargajiya na Habashawa da Eritrea, ikon mugun ido ne da ikon canzawa zuwa hyena. Buddha gabaɗaya ta yi imani da al'umma a matsayin iko da waɗanda ke cikin ƙungiya daban-daban ke riƙewa da amfani da shi, misali tsakanin Beta Isra'ila ko ma'aikatan ƙarfe.[1][2]: 20-21 Imani kuma yana nan a Sudan, Tanzania, da kuma tsakanin Mutanen Berber a Maroko.

Wasu Kiristoci na Habasha da Eritrea suna ɗauke da amulet ko talisman, wanda aka sani da kitab, ko kiran sunan Allah, don hana mummunar tasirin buda. Wani debtera, wanda ko dai firist ne wanda ba a san shi ba kuma / ko kuma mai ilimi wanda ke yin maganin gargajiya kuma wani lokacin sihiri, yana ƙirƙirar waɗannan amulet ko talismans masu kariya.[3][4]

Firistocin Orthodox na Habasha da aka ba su umarni suna ci gaba da shiga tsakani da kuma fitar da aljanu a madadin wadanda aka yi imanin cewa aljanu ko buda sun sha wahala. Ana kawo irin waɗannan mutane zuwa coci ko taron addu'a. Amsalu Geleta, a cikin binciken zamani, ya danganta abubuwan da suka zama ruwan dare ga fitar da aljanu na Kirista na Habasha:

Ba koyaushe ba ne ya ci nasara, kuma Geleta ya lura da wani misali inda hanyoyin da aka saba amfani da su ba su yi nasara ba, kuma aljanu a bayyane sun bar batun a wani lokaci daga baya. A kowane hali, "a kowane hali ba a umarci ruhun da wani suna ba sai sunan Yesu".

Ya haɗa da rera waƙoƙin yabo da nasara, karantawa daga Nassi, addu’a da fuskantar ruhu cikin sunan Yesu. Tattaunawa da ruhu wani muhimmin bangare ne na bikin fitar da mazaje. Yana taimaka wa mai ba da shawara (mai fitar da wuta) ya san yadda ruhun yake aiki a rayuwar mai aljanu. Alamu da abubuwan da ruhun ya ambata suna tabbatar da wanda aka azabtar bayan ceto.[5]
