Baba na Karo
Baba na Karo littafi ne na 1954 wanda masanin ilimin ɗan adam Mary F. Smith ta wallafa.[1] Littafin tarihi ne na tarihin rayuwar Hausawa, wanda aka hada shi daga wani asusun baka da aka bayar daga bakin Baba (1877-1951), diyar wani manomi hausawa kuma malamin kur'ani. Smith ne ta fassara rahotannin Baba.

Sake fitowar Baba na Karo a 1981 ya ƙunshi gabatarwar Hilda Kuper.[3] Wani abu daga littafin yana cikin tarihin almara na 1992 Daughters of Africa.[4]
Baba na tarihin Karo ya taimaka wajen tsara tarihin Nijeriya ta hanyar hangen mata.[5] Ba wai kawai Baba yana ba da labarin abubuwan da ta faru ba, amma tana ba da labarin mahimman mata waɗanda ke kusa da ita.[6] Rikodi da waɗannan abubuwan ya kasance babban abin birgewa saboda yawancin matan ba su da takardu.[7] Baba na tarihin rayuwar Karo ya ƙunshi batutuwa da yawa kamar karuwanci, haihuwa, aure, da rayuwa a cikin mahaɗan da ta rayu.[8]
