Wani jagorar tafiya ya bayyana asibitin da cewa "ba abin dogaro bane sosai". Wani rahoto na watan Fabrairun shekarar 2011 ya ce asibitin yana da lalacewar kayayyakin more rayuwa, rashin tsafta, zafi mai zafi, wari, rashin ruwa da wutar lantarki, rashin magunguna da kulawa. Ana buƙatar cin hanci don samun izinin shiga. Akwai likitoci kadan. Gidaje sun cika makil, kwari da sauro sun mamaye su. Gidajen bayan gidan sun toshe sannan kuma an sami karancin ruwan sha, wanda ake sa ran dangin marassa lafiyar zasu kawo.[1]

Bayan wani mummunan hatsarin mota da ya yi sanadiyyar mutuwar mutane biyu tare da jikkata wasu uku a cikin watan Afrilun 2008, an garzaya da waɗanda suka ji rauni zuwa asibiti. Yawan mace-macen mata ya yi yawa a Guinea saboda rashin kulawa ta farko, rashin isassun kayan aikin haihuwa a asibitocin turawa, ma'aikata marasa ilimi da kuma rashin ilimin kiwon lafiya.[3] Wani bincike da aka gudanar a 1991 a asibitocin kasar Guinea ya gano cewa babban abin da ke haifar da mutuwar mata yayin haihuwa shi ne rikice-rikicen zubar da ciki, wadanda ke da nasaba da hauhawar jini, da zubar jini bayan haihuwa.[4]

Wani bincike da akayi a 1995 a Ignace Deen ya gano cewa karancin jini ya kai kashi 65% na duk mace-macen mata.[5] Wani bincike da aka gudanar a asibiti ya nuna yawan cututtukan da ake dauka ta hanyar jima'i tsakanin mata masu ciki da suka hada da Cososis (28.76%), Farji Trichomoniasis (13.88%), Chlamydia trachomatis (3.37%), HIV (2.38%), Syphilis (0.99%) da Gonococcus ( 0.40%).[6]

Asibitin Ignace Deen, wanda da farko ake kira Hôpital Ballay, an gina shi ne a lokacin mulkin mallaka a cikin tsohon garin.[13]
