Raoul John Njeng-Njeng (an Haife shi 1 ga Afrilu 1991), wanda aka fi sani da sunansa Skales (waɗanda ake kira Neman Ilimin Samun Manyan Ƙwarewar Kasuwanci), mawakin Najeriya ne, mawaki kuma marubuci. A shekarar 2000, ya fara rubuta wakokin rap a Kaduna, Najeriya. A tsakanin 2007 zuwa 2008, ya tafi Jos don yin aiki tare da Jesse Jagz da Jeremiah Gyang. A shekarar 2008, ya shiga gasar Neman Zain Tru kuma ya lashe yankin Arewa ta Tsakiya a gasar. Wakarsa ta farko mai suna "Must Shine" ta samu kuri'u da dama a tashoshin Rhythm FM dake Legas, Jos da Abuja.[2] Skales ya yi aiki tare da masu fasaha da yawa, gami da Akon, ELDee, Tekno, Harmonize, Jeremiah Gyang, Banky W., da Knighthouse. Shahararrun wakokinsa sun hada da "Shake Body", "Mukulu", "Kersimesi", "Komole", "Babyna", "Take Care of Me" da "Denge Pose". Bayan barin E.M.E a cikin Mayu 2014, ya kafa alamar rikodin kiɗan OHK mai zaman kanta. An fitar da kundinsa na farko na studio Man of the Year a cikin 2015.[3]

An haifi Raoul John Njeng-Njeng dan asalin jihar Edo kuma ya girma a jihar Kaduna.[4] Ya girma a gida mai uwa daya uba daya tare da mahaifiyarsa, wadda ta yi ayyuka marasa kyau don renonsa. Skales ya zama mai sha'awar kiɗa yayin da yake halartar kantin kaset na mahaifiyarsa akai-akai.[5] Ya sadu da furodusa Jeremiah Gyang da Jesse Jagz yayin da yake halartar Jami'ar Jos (Unijos). Ya halarci gasar Neman Zain Tru a lokacin da yake Unijos kuma ya lashe yankin Arewa ta Tsakiya a gasar. Skales ya bar Unijos a karamar shekararsa kuma ya halarci Jami'ar Lead City, inda ya kammala karatun digiri a fannin sarrafa ofis da fasaha. Waƙarsa ta farko "Dole ne Shine" an sake shi zuwa babban yabo. A wata hira da jaridar This Day a shekara ta 2013, Skales ya bayyana kansa a matsayin mai nishadantarwa wanda wakokinsa ke tasiri ga muhallinsa.[6] Sakin sa na 2009 "Jagorar Grammy" ya samu wahayi daga Kanye West's "Jesus Walks". Abubuwan da ya faru a lokacin sun taimaka wajen daidaita yanayin waƙar, wanda ya kasance mai ban sha'awa don ƙarfafa kai.[7][8]

2009–14: Nishadin Empire Mates

Skales ya sanya hannu kan yarjejeniyar rikodi da E.M.E bayan ya gana da Banky W. a shekarar 2009. Ya fitar da wakokin “Mukulu” da “Kersimesi” a lokaci guda. Duk wakokin biyu Sarz ne ya shirya kuma aka fitar da su a karkashin kaya. Bidiyon kiɗan don waƙar ta ƙarshe Clarence Peters ce ta jagoranta kuma an loda shi zuwa YouTube akan 28 Nuwamba 2011.[9][10] Skales yana ɗaya daga cikin manyan ayyuka akan kundi na farko na EME, Empire Mates State of Mind (2012). Ya yi aiki tare da Banky W., Wizkid, Shaydee, Niyola da DJ Xclusive a kan biyar daga cikin guda bakwai na album. A cikin Mayu 2014, Skales ya kafa lakabin rikodin nasa, kiɗan OHK. Lakabin gida ne ga furodusa Drey Beatz kuma yana da alaƙa da wasu ma'aikatan kiɗa a cikin Najeriya. A ranar 6 ga Mayu 2014, Skales ya fito da waƙar "Shake Body" da Jay Pizzle ya samar a matsayin jagora ɗaya daga kundi na farko na studio na Man of the Year. Bidiyon waƙar da ke rakiyar an ɗora shi zuwa YouTube a ranar 22 ga Yuli 2014. Skales ya inganta waƙar ta hanyar sanar da gasar bidiyo na Shake Body.[17] An bayar da rahoton cewa Skales ya sanya hannu kan yarjejeniyar rikodin tare da Timaya's Dem Mama Records bayan tafiyarsa daga E.M.E. A cikin Fabrairu 2014, Skales ya karyata rahotannin kuma ya ce bai sanya hannu tare da Dem Mama Records ba.[18][19]

A watan Disambar 2011, Skales ya yi hatsarin mota a hanyar Lekki-Epe Expressway. Motar da yake ciki ta ruga da wani rami ta yi ta hargitse. Hadarin ya yi sanadin mutuwar mutum daya sannan uku sun jikkata.[20][21]

Ya kasance cikin wasu mashahurai da yawa kamar Davido, da ɗan wasan Super Eagles John Ogu don sukar Desmond Elliot saboda tura dokar kafofin sada zumunta a watan Oktoba 2020.[22]

A ranar 14 ga Maris, 2021, Skales ya ba da sanarwar alƙawarin sa da budurwarsa akan Instagram.[23]
