Pounded yam
Pounded yam ko Íyàn abinci ne na Najeriya daga kabilar Yarbawa, Igbo, Ebira da Tiv.[1][2] Ana yin ta ne a al'ada ta hanyar bugun dawa da aka daka, a kwaba dawa a yanka shi kanana, a tafasa shi ya yi laushi sannan a yi ta da turmi.[3][4] Pounded yam wanda shine Ingilishi na íyan yana kama da dankalin da aka daka amma ya fi nauyi, abinci ne mai santsi da daɗi wanda aka saba ci da hannu.[5][6][7]

Ana amfani da Íyan a Edo, Benue, Ijesha, Ondo jihar da Ekiti a Najeriya. Wasu na ganin ya samo asali ne daga jihar Edo. Ana iya ba da shi da miya daban-daban kamar su Egusi, Miyar Ganyen Jute (Ewedu), Alayyahu (Efo Riro) da miyar okra.[8][9][10]
