Jiren
Jiren tsohon babban birnin Masarautar Jimma ne, a yankin Oromia na ƙasar Habasha. A yau ƙauye ne ko bayan gari[1] a wajen birnin Jimma, wanda ya ƙunshi gidaje kusan 2500 da ba su yi rajista ba.[2]

Bayan rasuwar Abba Jifar II a shekarar 1932, Masarautar Habasha ta mamaye Masarautar Jimma kuma Jiren ta ƙi zama cibiyar siyasa. Da yake rubutawa a cikin 1965, Herbert S. Lewis ya lura cewa ginin fadar ya bace kuma ya “gudu zuwa wurin wasu mutane su ɗari da ke gudanar da wasu shaguna, gidan casu da gidajen karuwai”.[4] Yawancin mazaunanta sun koma Hirmata, wanda a cikin 1936 gwamnatin mulkin mallaka na Italiya ta hade da Jiren don kafa sabon birnin Jimma, babban birnin Galla-Sidamo Governorate.[5]
