Axim birni ne na bakin teku kuma babban birnin gundumar Nzema ta Gabas, gundumar a Yankin Yammacin Kudancin Ghana.[1] Axim yana da tazarar kilomita 64 yamma da tashar jiragen ruwa na Sekondi-Takoradi a Yankin Yamma zuwa yammacin Cape Points.[1] Axim yana da yawan mazaunan 2013 na mutane 27,719.[2]

Fotigal ya isa a farkon karni na 16 a matsayin yan kasuwa. Sun gina mashahurin sansanin teku, Sansanin Santo Antonio, a 1515. Sun fitar da wasu 'yan Afirka a matsayin bayi zuwa Turai da Amurka. Tsakanin 1642 da 1872, Dutch ɗin ya faɗaɗa kuma ya canza shi, wanda ya “yi mulki” a lokacin. Sansanin, yanzu mallakar Ghana, a buɗe yake ga jama'a. Kusa da bakin teku wasu tsibirai ne masu kayatarwa, gami da wanda ke da fitila.[1]

Tsarin Axim

Garin Axim ya kasu kashi biyu: Upper Axim da Lower Axim. Sansanin Santo Antonio ya ta'allaka ne akan rarrabuwa tsakanin sassan biyu, amma mafi kusa da tsakiyar Upper Axim, asalin mazaunin Turai.[1] Anan, manyan manyan gidaje da yawa na manyan masu sayar da katako da sauran 'yan kasuwa sun kasance daga ƙarshen karni na 19 da lokacin masarautar Biritaniya.[1] Babban Manajan gundumar siyasa ne na gundumar Nzema ta Gabas.[1]

Tattalin Arziki

Tattalin arzikin ya ta'allaka ne musamman kan jiragen ruwan kamun kifi na Axim, amma kuma yankin yana da wuraren shakatawa na bakin teku uku da na kwakwa da na roba.[1] Yanayin shimfidar wuri mai dausayi yana da itatuwan dabino da yawa. Masu hakar ma'adinai na cikin gida suna ɗora gwal a cikin rafuffukan cikin gida daga Axim.[1]

Axim yana da tashar sufuri, manyan rassan banki guda biyu, da wasu bankunan karkara da suka haɗa da Bankin karkara na Ahantaman, Nzema Maanle Rural Bank, Lower Pra Rural Bank.[1]

Kowace watan Agusta, ana yin manyan bukukuwan Kundum, daidai da mafi kyawun kamun kifi na shekara; mutane suna zuwa Axim don bukukuwa da yin kifi da kasuwanci.[1]

  • January Conny, wanda aka sani da sunaye da yawa, wanda mafi mashahuri shine John Canoe, jarumi ne na Akan kuma shugaban mutanen Ahanta, abokin kawancen Brandenburg-Prussia da Burtaniya da Dutch, a cikin yankin Brandenburger Gold Coast (1683-1720) in Axim.
