Asosa yanki ne a yankin Benishangul -Gumuz, Habasha. Wani yanki na shiyyar Asosa, yana da iyaka da Kurmuk da Komesha a arewa, da Menge a arewa maso gabas, da Oda Buldigilu a gabas, da Bambasi a kudu maso gabas, da gundumar Mao-Komo a kudu da kuma Sudan a cikin yamma. Ana kiran wannan gundumar ne bayan mafi girman mazauni, Asosa . Koguna sun haɗa da Yabus da kuma ta Buldidine. Ɗaya daga cikin mafi girman maki a Asosa shine Dutsen Bange.
