Peters ta yi karatu a Jami'ar Jihar Iowa, inda ta sami MSc da PhD a cikin hulɗar ɗan adam da kwamfuta. Ta sami lambobin yabo biyu na tallafin karatu a cikin shekara ta 2013 daga Boeing don gudummawar wallafe-wallafen bincike na HCI.[4][5] Da PhD ɗinta, ta sami lambar yabo ta Nazari na Bincike daga Jami'ar Jihar Iowa. Ta kammala karatun digirinta na uku a karkashin lambar yabo ta Kimiyya da Fasaha ta Duniya ta Fulbright da Kwalejin Schlumberger a Faculty for the Future Women in Science fellowship.. Ayyukanta na bincike na yanzu shine akan lissafin zamantakewa, jinsi a cikin fasahar dijital, gamification, da kuma shiga e-government da e-health.

A cikin shekarar 2012, ta zama masaniya a Google Anita Borg a Amurka. Ta kuma shiga cikin Intuit a cikin Silicon Valley a matsayin mai binciken gwaninta (UX) kafin karɓar haɗin gwiwar postdoctoral a Jami'ar Jihar Oregon.[6] Anan, ta yi aiki a ƙarƙashin Margaret Burnett, wanda ya kafa yankin aikin injiniya na software na ƙarshe kuma ya haɓaka harsunan shirye-shiryen gani guda biyu.

A cikin shekarar 2015, Anicia Peters ta zama Babbar Shugaba na Faculty of Computing and Informatics (FCI) kuma mataimakiyar farfesa a kimiyyar kwamfuta a Jami'ar Kimiyya da Fasaha ta Namibia (NUST), shugabar Namibiya ta farko a NUST, inda ta ba da gudummawar kafa makarantar Cibiyar Kwarewa ta Indiya-Namibia a cikin IT.[4][7][8]

A Namibiya, ta fara ayyuka da yawa kamar taron na Namibia Women in Computing da kuma babi uku na Association for Computing Machinery (ACM). Ɗayan irin wannan babi na gida shine ACM-W.[9][10] Ta kuma jagoranci taron al'adu da na'ura mai kwakwalwa ta ƙasa da ƙasa a Windhoek a watan Oktoban 2016. Ta kuma jagoranci taron farko na Afirka Human Computer Interaction Conference (AfriCHI) a Nairobi, Kenya, a watan Nuwamba 2016 kuma ta kasance mai ba da shawara na musamman ga AfriCHI2018. A cikin shekarar 2016, jaridar New Era ta sanya Peters tauraruwar na mako wanda ke nuna aikinta a fannin ilimi da bincike.

A cikin watan Fabrairu 2017, an nuna ta a matsayin ɗaya daga cikin manyan mutane 20 a cikin Who's who Namibia 2017 . Ita kuma tana ɗaya daga cikin Matan Afirka 10 masu Rolemodel a Fasaha wanda Afchix ya nuna.

Daga shekarar 2020 har zuwa lokacin da aka naɗa ta a matsayin Shugaba na NCRST, Peters ta yi aiki a matsayin Mataimakiyar Shugaban Jami'ar Bincike, ta Research, Innovation and Development a Jami'ar Namibia, inda ta ɗauki nauyin kula da ayyukan bincike da kirkire-kirkire na jami'ar.

A cikin watan Yuli 2021, Shugaba Hage Geingob (Shugaban Namibia) ne ya naɗa ta a matsayin Shugabar Tawagar Task Force na Namibia akan Juyin Masana'antu na Huɗu.

Tun watan Disamba 2022 ta kasance Shugabar Hukumar Bincike, Kimiyya da Fasaha ta ƙasa. (NCRST)

Peters ta taba riƙe muƙamin mataimakiyar shugaban hukumar gudanarwar hukumar kula da cancantar Namibia sannan kuma mamba a majalisar Namibia mai kula da manyan makarantu (NCHE).[11][12] President Hage Geingob appointed Peters as the chairperson of the Task Force on the Fourth Industrial Revolution for Namibia in July 2021.[13] Shugaba Hage Geingob ya naɗa Peters a matsayin shugabar kungiyar Task Force on the Four Industrial Revolution for Namibia a watan Yuli 2021.
