Kimanin Sikhs da Hindu 30,000 ne kawai a Afghanistan, Anarkali Kaur Honaryar na ɗaya daga cikinsu.[2] Ita ce mace ta farko wacce ba musulma ba ce a majalisar dokokin ƙasar Afganistan.[3]

Lokacin da aka kori Taliban a shekarar 2001, Honaryar ta karanci likitanci a Jami'ar Kabul. Ta kasance memba a Loya Jirga da ke zaɓar gwamnatin rikon kwarya ta Afganistan bayan faɗuwar Taliban, sannan kuma mamba ce ta kwamitin tsarin mulkin Afghanistan. [4] A cikin shekarar 2006, ta zama memba na Hukumar Kare Haƙƙin Ɗan Adam mai zaman kanta ta Afghanistan.

A cikin shekarar 2010, an zaɓi Honaryar a matsayin Meshrano Jirga na ƙasar, kuma ita ce mace ta farko da ba musulma ba da ta cimma wannan matsayi, ta bar muƙaminta a tsakiyar 2015. [1]

A ranar 22 ga watan Agusta shekarar, 2021, ta zo Indiya tare da wasu Indiyawan da sojojin Indiya suka ceto daga Afganistan saboda harin Taliban na Afghanistan a 2021. [5]
