An haife Kuziak a Canora, Saskatchewan, ɗan Yakubu Kuziak da Mary Luchuk, [1] [2] kuma ya sami ilimi a Canora, Yorkton da Saskatoon. Ya halarci makarantar al'ada a Regina sannan ya koyar da makaranta a Canora na tsawon shekaru biyar. Kuziak na gaba ya yi aiki a matsayin sakatare-ma'ajin na gundumar Maɓalli na karkara, yana gudanar da inshora da kasuwancin gidaje a Canora kuma ya kasance abokin tarayya a Canora Electric da Heating.[1] Ya kuma kasance memba na hukumar makarantar Canora, yana aiki a matsayin shugaba daga 1945 zuwa 1946, kuma shine shugaban hukumar asibitin Canora Union.[2]

Kuziak ya kasance memba mai ƙwaƙƙwara na Ƙungiyar Haɗin gwiwar Commonwealth tun lokacin da aka kafa shi a cikin 1933. An fara zabe shi a matsayin memba na Majalisar Dokoki ta Saskatchewan a zaben lardin 1948, mai wakiltar hawan Canora[3][4].

Bayan sake zabensa a shekara ta 1952, an nada shi Ministan Wayoyi, a matsayin minista mai kula da ofishin kudi na gwamnati da kuma ministan albarkatun kasa, ya zama mutum na farko na zuriyar Yukren da ya zama minista a kasar Canada[5]. An sake zabe shi a zaben 1956 kuma ya koma mukamin ministan ma’adinai, mukamin da ya rike har ya sha kaye a zaben 1964.[6]

A cikin zaɓen tarayya na 1965, bai yi nasara ba don neman kujerar Yorkton a Majalisar Dokokin Kanada. Ya yi aiki a majalisar birni na Yorkton a cikin 1971.[7]
