Ajmer ƙauye ne a cikin Ajmer district na jihar Rajasthan a India.[1][2] Yana da ƙauye 4 census towns da ƙauye 85. Babban birnin ƙauyen shine eponymous Ajmer.[3]

Kafin kafuwar Jamhuriyar Indiya, yankin da ke cikin Ajmer tehsil na yanzu ya kasance ɓangare na tsohuwar Ajmer-Merwara Province (wanda ake kira Ajmer-Merwara-Kekri).[4] A cikin 1950, lardin Ajmer ya zama "Part C" state, kuma daga baya an haɗa shi da Rajasthan a cikin 1956.[5] Bayan haɗa, an kafa sabon lardin Ajmer wanda ya haɗa da yankin Ajmer tehsil na yanzu.[6]
