Abd al-Rahman bin Utba al-Fihri

Abd al-Rahman ibn Utba al-Fihri, kuma aka fi sani da Ibn Jahdam, shi ne gwamnan Masar ga abokin hamayyarsa Ibn al-Zubayr a shekara ta 684, a lokacin fitina ta biyu.

Khawarijawan Masar sun shelanta kansu ga Ibn al-Zubayr a lokacin da ya shelanta kansa a matsayin halifa a Makka, shi kuma Ibn al-Zubayr ya aika AbdulRahman bn Utba al-Fihri ya zama gwamnan lardin. Ko da yake gwamna mai ci Sa'id bn Yazid ya hakura, amma da kyar larabawa mazauna lardin suka hakura da zuwansa, suka fara tuntubar da halifa Umayyawa Marwan na daya a Damascus . Wannan tuntuɓar ta ƙarfafa Marwan ya yi maci da Masar, inda Abd al-Rahman ya yi ƙoƙarin yin tsaro a banza. Duk da cewa ya yi garkuwa da Fustat babban birnin kasar, sojojin da ya aika domin su hana Banu Umayyawa gaba a Ayla sun narke kuma guguwa ta farfasa rundunarsa. Marwan ya shiga Masar ba tare da hamayya ba, bayan an kwashe kwanaki biyu ana gwabzawa a gaban Fustat, sarakunan birnin suka mika masa. An bar Abd al-Rahman ya bar Masar da dukiyarsa.[1]
