Ginin karamar hukuma na farko da aka gina a garin shi ne tsohon dakin taro na garin. Wani karamin gini ne wanda ke daukar tarurrukan jami’an karamar hukuma da kuma kararrakin sauraron kararraki. M A ƙarshen karni na 19, jami'an Ikklesiya sun yanke shawarar ƙaddamar da sabon zauren gari. Harry Sirr da Edwin Rope ne suka tsara sabon ginin a cikin salon Edwardian Baroque, wanda aka g shi da bulo mai ja kuma an kammala shi a cikin 1902. Ƙirar ƙunshi babban gaba mai ma'ana da ke fuskantar tudun Kasuwa. Akwai wani buɗaɗɗen buɗewa a ƙasan ƙasa (wanda daga [2]baka haɓaka ta da babban baranda mai faɗi), taga mai haske biyar mai haske da jujjuyawar[3]bene na farko da wani wuri a cikin tudun da aka tako a sama. A ciki, babban ɗakin shine babban ɗakin taro.[4]

A lokacin yakin duniya na farko, an kafa tashar gwajin makamai a Orford Ness kuma, saboda rashin isasshen masauki a Orford Ness, an kafa hedkwatar tashar a cikin zauren gari. Daga baya, an yi amfani da zauren gari don kide-kide: maimaita wasan opera guda ɗaya, Noye's Fludde, na mawakin Burtaniya, Benjamin Britten, ya faru a can a 1958[5].
