An gwabza yakin Ramadi na biyu a lokacin yakin Iraki daga watan Maris na 2006 zuwa Nuwamba 2006, domin iko da babban birnin lardin Al Anbar da ke yammacin Iraki. An yi wa yaƙin alamar mutuwar farko na wani jirgin ruwan sojan ruwa na Amurka a Iraki, Marc Alan Lee, a ranar 2 ga Agusta, 2006.[2] Yakin ya kuma zama na farko da maharan suka yi amfani da bama-bamai na Chlorine a lokacin yakin. A ranar 21 ga watan Oktoban shekarar 2006, maharan sun tayar da bam a cikin mota dauke da tankokin chlorine guda biyu masu nauyin kilo 100, inda suka jikkata 'yan sandan Iraki uku da wani farar hula a Ramadi.
