Tehilla Lichtenstein
Tehilla Lichtenstein [1] (1893-1973) ya kasance mai haɗin gwiwa kuma jagorar Kimiyyar Yahudanci,haka kuma marubuci. An haife ta a Urushalima kuma ta yi hijira zuwa Amurka lokacin tana da shekaru goma sha ɗaya.[2] Iyayenta sune Hava (Cohen) da Rabbi Chaim Hirschensohn.Ta sami digiri na BA a Classics daga Kwalejin Hunter da kuma digiri na MA a fannin adabi daga Jami'ar Columbia.[2]

Lichtenstein ta fara gudanar da makarantar addini ta Society of Jewish Science a New York,inda ta kuma koyar da Ibrananci da Littafi Mai Tsarki. Ta zama shugabar ruhaniya na Society of Science Yahudawa lokacin da mijinta Morris,wanda ya kasance shugabanta, ya mutu a 1938. Wasikar Morris ta bayyana cewa matsayin ya kamata ya je ga ɗayan ’ya’yansu,ko kuma zuwa Tehilla idan ɗayan ’ya’yansu ba su yarda ba, wanda kamar yadda ba su yi ba.[2] Don haka Lichtenstein ta zama mace Bayahudiya Ba’amurke ta farko da ke da mimbari (ko da yake ba ta taɓa nema ko karɓar naɗin rabbi ba) kuma ta farko da ta zama shugabar ruhaniya na ikilisiyar Yahudawa mai gudana. A ranar 4 ga Disamba, 1938,Lichtenstein ta ba da huɗubarta ta farko a matsayin sabuwar shugabar Ƙungiyar Kimiyyar Yahudawa.An yi masa taken “Ikon Tunani.”[3] A cewar jaridar New York Times,wacce ta ba da taƙaitaccen sanarwa ga taron,sama da mutane ɗari biyar ne suka halarci wannan wa'azin. Ta ci gaba da wa’azi tun daga kan mimbari har zuwa 1972.[3] Ta yi huduba sama da dari biyar gaba daya.
Ta dauki nauyin shirin rediyo na mako-mako a cikin 1950s wanda ya kasance hade da shawarwari masu amfani da koyarwar Kimiyyar Yahudanci.
