Riwai Te Ahu (c1821-1866) sanannen malami ne kuma mai wa'azi a ƙasashen waje na New Zealand. Daga zuriyar Māori, ya bayyana tare da Ngāti Hinerangi da Ngāti Awa iwi (ƙabilar). An haife shi a New Zealand">Waitara, Taranaki, New Zealand . Shi ɗan Tuhoe ne na Waiongana da Waipuia na Waitara . A cikin shekarar 1840 Rev. Octavius Hadfield ya yi masa baftisma a Waikanae Mission of the Church Missionary Society (CMS). [1][2]

Daga kimanin shekarar 1840 zuwa 1854 ya kasance malamin ka'idoji kuma malami a aikin CMS a Waikanae . [1] Ya yi aiki tare da Hadfield don kafa makarantu tsakanin mutanen Māori da ke zaune a Queen Charlotte Sound, gami da Okukari Bay..[3]

A watan Satumbar shekarar 1855 ya bi Bishop Selwyn da John Patteson a ziyarar fastoci zuwa Tsibirin Kudancin da Tsibirin Chatham . An naɗa shi firist a shekara ta 1858 kuma ya zama memba na CMS. A ranar 11 ga Yulin shekarar 1859 an naɗa shi a matsayin mataimakin Rev. Hadfield a Ōtaki . A watan Oktoba na shekara ta 1859 ya kasance memba na majalisa ta farko ta Diocese na Wellington . [2] Ya gudanar da makarantu a Queen Charlotte Sound da Tory Channel kuma yana da alaƙa da cibiyar Anglican a Okukari Bay a Marlborough . Ya mutu a Ōtaki a ranar 6 ga Oktoban shekarar 1866. [3]
