Wasa mutanen Akan people ne waɗanda suka fi yawa a Ghana.^[1]

Yankin Wasa ya mamaye 9,638 km2 (3,721 sq mi), kusan iri ɗaya da Yankin Tsakiya (9,826 km2 (3,794 sq mi)); Yankin Yamma gaba ɗaya yanzu ya mamaye 14,293 km2 (5,519 sq mi).^[2]

Manyan garuruwan Wasa sun hada da: Samreaboi, Asankrangwa, Manso-Amenfi, Wasa Akropong, Bawdie, Bogoso, Prestea, Tarkwa, Daboase, Nsuta da Mpohor.^[3]

Wasa ita ce kabila mafi girma a Yankin Yamma ta fuskar filaye da yawan jama'a.^[4]
