Itace ne mai tsayi wanda aka samo yana girma a cikin bankunan duwatsu da gangara.[3] Yana girma a ko'ina cikin tsaunuka na sagebrush da kuma cikin gandun daji na pinyon-juniper . Yana da tsawon rayuwa na shekaru 5-7.
