Kogin Gilo
Kogin Gilo kogi ne a yankin Gambela da ke kudu maso yammacin kasar Habasha.Ana kuma san ta da sunaye iri-iri: Gimira na Dizu suna kiranta da "Mene",yayin da Gemira na Chako ke kiranta "Owis", kuma mazauna Amhara da Oromo a farkon karni na 20 sun san shi da suna na uku, "Bako".[1] Daga tushensa a tsaunukan Habasha kusa da Mizan Teferi yana gudana zuwa yamma,ta tafkin Tata don shiga kogin Pibor a kan iyakar Habasha da Sudan.[2]Ruwan da aka haɗa ya haɗa da kogin Sobat da farin Nilu .

Kogin Gilo yana gudana ne ta hanyar Baro Salient,wani yanki na Habasha wanda ke kusa da yamma zuwa Sudan.Kwarin kogin ya kasance mai yawan neman zinari kafin yakin duniya na biyu da kuma a shekarun 1950,amma bai isa ba don yin hakar kasuwanci.
Jessen,wanda wani bangare ne na balaguron WN McMillan da ya bi ta wannan yanki na kudu maso yammacin Habasha a shekara ta 1904, ya kiyasta tsawonsa ya kai mil 200,ya kuma lura cewa a ambaliya fadin Gilo ya kai yadi 80 zuwa 100,tare da zurfin kusan kafa 20.Jessen ya kara rubuta cewa a lokacin ziyarar tasa.
