Harcourt Whyte
Ikoli Harcourt-Whyte Tsakanin (1905-1977) wanda akafi sani da Harcourt Whyte ya kasance mawakin Najeriya ne wanda aka fi tunawa dashi da taken sa na "Atula Egwu".[1]

gyara sasheAn haife Ikoli a Abonnema a tsohuwar yankin Nija-Delta a 1905. An saka mai suna Ikoli a lokacin yana jariri daga iyayensa Munabo da Odibo. A tsakanin shekaran 1915 da 1918, ya halarci makarantu kamar "Bishop Crowther Memorial School". Yana daya daga cikin 'yan kade-kaden makranta kuma yabi ra'ayin busa sarewa da bugun ganga. Daga baya ya canza sunanshi zuwa Harcourt Whyte. Mutanensa "Kalabaris" sun kware wajen kamun kifi da kasuwanci sobada haka, Ikoli kwararre ne a wannan fanni. A shekarar 1919 an tabbatar da yana da cutar Leprosy bayan alamu sun fara bayyana tun shekarar 1918. Whyte ya share rayuwarsa wajen inganta rayuwa da ilimin masu cutar Liprosi saboda shima ya kamu da cutar kuma ya warke. Ya kasance yana wa cocin Methodist wakoki masu tsarki, kuma wakokinsa sun ja ra'ayin mutane da yawa musamman a kasashen Inyamurai (Igbo). Yayi wakoki fiye da 600 a rayuwarsa.[2]
