He is best known for playing the roles of Shem and Mama Shem on his Mc Shem Comedian page on Youtube, Facebook, and Tiktok. He has over 5 million subscribers on Tiktok making him the most followed Nigerian on Tiktok. He also has 3.5 million followers on Facebook and over 780,000 subscribers on YouTube. He is married to Oluwatoyin and lives in Lagos Nigeria.

EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION Mc Shem was born in September 1990 in Lagos, Nigeria. He bagged a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the Adekunle Ajasin University (7) Ondo State and later enrolled at the University of Lagos (8) for a master's degree in sociology which he later abandoned for his comedy career. He speaks and understands both Edo and Yoruba languages fluently. CAREER Mc Shem started acting at age 8, where he featured in various church dramas. He is also an event host and stand-up comedian who has won several awards including the Nescafe Comedy competition. He has featured several Nollywood actors and content creators including Kunle Afod, Rotimi Salami, Adeniyi Johnson, Sirbalo and Mark Angel in his comedy skits.
