Al-Masad
Al-Masad[1] Larabci: المسد, ma'ana: 'Madauri lankwasasshe' ita ce sura ta 111 na Alqur'ani. Yana da ayoyi 5 ko ayoyi 5 kuma yana ba da labarin hukunce-hukuncen da Abū Lahab da matarsa za su sha a cikin Jahannama.[2]

- Sanye a wuyanta da igiya murɗaɗɗe.
Wani bincike kan rubuce-rubucen kur'ani a cikin ɗakin karatu na Vatican ya lura da lakabin Lahab (Harshe); masad; al-Haṭab; da Abi Lahab. A cikin shekarar 1730s an san taken babin da Abu Laheb ta mai fassarar nan watau George Sale.[3]

Wannan surar ta ciro sunanta ne daga aya ta 5 a cikin wannan jumlar “Hablun min masad” (ma’ana “ igiyar dabino”) ta zo da ta ambaci igiyar zaren dabino da ke a cikin wutar jahannama za a karkata a wuyan matar kawun Muhammadu, wanda ya yi adawa da Musulunci sosai; Domin ta yi girman kai da sanya wani abin wuya da ta shahara da ita kuma takan zamewa da daddare don ta watsa ƙaya da ciyayi a tafarkin Muhammadu don cutar da ƙafafunsa. Don haka, dangane da lokacin wahayi da mahallin wahayi (asbāb al-nuzūl), an yi imani da wata surar Makka ta farko.
