Perbi ita ce marubuciyar A History of Indigenous Slavery in Ghana from the 15th to the 19th Century kuma ta rubuta labarai sama da ashirin da babi na littafai. Perbi tana aiki a matsayin wakilin Ghana na dindindin a Kwamitin Kimiyya da Fasaha na Duniya na UNESCO kan aikin hanyar bayi. Ita ma 'yar majalisa ce kuma ma'ajin kungiyar Tarihi ta Ghana.[1][4]

Ta kuma yi aiki tare da National Archives na Ghana a matsayin Mataimakiyar Archivist na tsawon shekaru biyu (1977 – 79) da ƙarin shekaru biyu tare da Cibiyar Ilimin Manya a matsayin Kocin zama (1979-1981).[1]
