Ayyuka da umarni

Ayyukan SON sun haɗa da amma ba a iyakance su ba, ga wasu kamar haka: [2]

  • tabbatar da kayayyaki
  • samar da manufofi don samar da ingancin kayayyaki da aiyuka
  • kimanta ayyukan tabbatar da inganci, gami da takaddun shaida na tsarin, samfuran da dakunan gwaje-gwaje a duk faɗin Najeriya
  • tsarawa, amincewa da bayyana ka'idoji dangane da metrology, kayan aiki, kayayyaki, tsari da matakai.
  • tabbatar da kayayyakin kasuwanci da masana'antu a duk faɗin Najeriya
  • yin rajista da daidaita alamomi da ƙayyadaddun bayanai da sauransu.
  • binciken ingancin samfurin
  • aiwatar da ka'idoji da kuma hukunta masu karya doka
  • tattara kayayyaki a Najeriya da ke buƙatar daidaitawa

An kafa SON a ƙarƙashin Dokar Enabling Number 56 na Disambar shekara ta 1971, koda yake ya fara aiki a ranar 1 ga Janairu, shekarar 1970. An yi wa Dokar gyare-gyare sau uku: Dokar Lamba 20 ta shekarar 1976, Dokar Lamba 32 ta shekarar 1984 da Dokar Lamba 18 ta shekarar 1990.[3] SON memba ne na Ƙungiyar Ƙasashen Duniya don daidaitawa . [4]

  • A bikin cika shekaru 50 na hukumar, Darakta Janar na Ƙungiyar ya ba da sanarwar cewa hukumar ta karɓi ƙa'idodin masana'antu na Najeriya 213 don sanya yaduwar samfuran karya a cikin tantancewa.[5]
