Osita Ogbu , OON farfesa ne a fannin tattalin arziki na ci gaba a Jami'ar Najeriya.[1] Ya kasance Ministan Tsare-tsare na Kasa a Najeriya daga 2005 zuwa 2006, kuma tsohon babban mai ba shugaban Najeriya shawara kan tattalin arziki. Ya taba zama Babban Darakta na Cibiyar Nazarin Manufofin Fasaha ta Afirka, Nairobi, bayan ya yi aiki a matsayin Babban ƙwararren ƙwararren ƙwararrun tattalin arziƙi na Cibiyar Nazarin Raya Ƙasa ta Duniya (IDRC), Kanada da Mashawarcin Bincike Tattalin Arziki na Bankin Duniya, Washington D.C. Osita Ogbu ya fito daga Ovoko, a karamar hukumar Igbo-Eze ta Kudu a jihar Enugu a Najeriya. An haifi Ogbu a ranar 29 ga Satumba, 1957, a Onitsha. Ya yi karatunsa na farko a Makarantar Firamare ta Holy Trinity, Onitsha da Kwalejin St. Teresa, Nsukka. Ya yi karatu a Jami'ar Nigeria, Nsukka inda ya kammala a 1979 da digiri na biyu. a fannin tattalin arziki da kuma Jami'ar Howard da ke Washington D.C., Amurka, inda ya sami digiri na biyu a fannin tattalin arziki a watan Disambar 1984 da kuma Ph.D. a fannin tattalin arziki a watan Mayu 1988. Yana kuma da takardar sheda a cikin harkokin gudanar da kamfanoni – ayyuka na kwamitin daga Harvard University Business School, Boston, Amurka (Yuli 2009)
