A Network (Layer) Service Access Point Identifier (NSAPI) ne mai ganewa amfani a GPRS (cell data) cibiyoyin sadarwa.

Ana amfani dashi don gano yanayin Packet Data Protocol (PDP) (wani zaman bayanai na musamman) a cikin Mobile Station (MS) da kuma a cikin GPRS Support Node (SGSN). MS ce ta zaba shi sosai (duk da haka, MS ya kamata ta tabbatar da cewa wani bangare na gudanar da zaman ba ya amfani da NSAPI da aka zaɓa a halin yanzu). Lokacin da MS ta nemi mahallin PDP, tana zaɓar NSAPI wanda ta aika zuwa SGSN tare da buƙatar.
