Lokacin da ta murmure, ta yi hulɗa da Jerry Johnston da Sunshine Village waɗanda suka yi aiki tare da waɗanda aka yanke a wasan tseren kan iyaka.[1] Tare da aiki, Manzer da Brent Munro sun zama ƴan ƙasar Kanada na farko da suka shiga cikin wasan tseren kan iyaka a wasannin nakasassu na lokacin hunturu na 1976.[2] Ta samu lambar zinare a tseren mai nisan kilomita 5 na Class II,[3] duk da cewa ita kadai ce mai fafatawa.[4] Manzer kuma ta kare a matsayi na uku a gasar mata Slalom II da Giant Slalom II.[5] A cikin wasannin na nakasassu na hunturu masu zuwa, Manzer ya sami lambar zinare a cikin Slalom na Mata da lambar azurfa a Giant Slalom 2A na Mata.[6] Ta sami takardar shedar shedar koyar da wasan kankara daga ƙungiyar masu koyar da Ski ta Kanada[7] kuma ta sami lambobin yabo guda uku a Gasar Cin Kofin Duniya na Nakasassu ta 1982. Ta sami lambar tagulla a tseren dusar ƙanƙara, wani tagulla na katuwar slalom, da lambar azurfa a ƙasa.[8]
