Kwalejin koyon tuƙin Jirgin Sama ta Gabashin Afirka (EACAA), wanda aka fi sani da Makarantar Jirgin Sama ta Soroti, makarantar Uganda ce da ke horar da matukan jirgin sama da injiniyoyin kula da jirgin sama.[1]

Jirgin Sama

Makarantar ta kasance a filin jirgin sama na Soroti, ( a cikin garin Soroti a yankin Gabas . Yana da kusan 228 kilometres (142 mi), ta jirgin sama, arewa maso gabas da filin jirgin saman Entebbe, filin jirgin saman farar hula da na soja mafi girma a Uganda. [2] Haɗin kai na filin jirgin sama sune 1°43'15.0"N; 33°37'03.0"E (Latitude:1.720833; Longitude:33.617500).

Ya zuwa Mayu 2018, makarantar jirgin sama tana fuskantar gyare-gyare da tsarin takaddun shaida don zama cibiyar ƙwarewar jirgin sama a yankin. An dauki sabbin ma'aikatan fasaha, ciki har da (a) Darakta (b) Manajan Inganci (c) Manajan Tsaro (d) Babban Injiniyan Injiniya (d) Masu koyar da Jirgin Sama (e) Masu koyarwa na ƙasa (f) Masu koyarwar Injiniya da (g) Masu koyar na Ayyukan Jirgin Sama.[3] A wannan lokacin makarantar tana da jirgin horo guda tara. Ya zuwa Mayu 2018, masu horar da matukan jirgi tara, injiniyoyin kula da jirgin sama guda bakwai da jami'an ayyukan jirgin sama goma sha huɗu sun kammala horo a lokacin shekara ta kalandar. Ana sa ran wasu matukan jirgi goma sha biyar, injiniyoyin aikin jirgin sama goma sha biyar da injiniyoyin kula da jirgin sama guda biyar su kammala karatu a lokacin rabi na biyu na 2018.[3]

An kafa EACAA a watan Satumbar 1971 a karkashin Daraktan Jirgin Sama na EAC. Gwamnatin Uganda, Ƙungiyar Gabashin Afirka (EAC), Shirin Ci Gaban Majalisar Dinkin Duniya, da Ƙungiyar Jirgin Sama ta Duniya sune manyan masu ba da gudummawa.[4]

Lokacin da EAC na farko ya rushe a 1977, gwamnatin Uganda ta karɓi gudanarwa da kula da makarantar. [5] A cikin 2012, gwamnati ta fara aiwatar da dawo da makarantar zuwa EAC.[6]

A ƙarshen shekara ta 2013, gwamnatin Uganda ta shiga tattaunawa ta farko tare da Integra, kamfanin jirgin sama mai zaman kansa na Denmark, don ingantawa da gudanar da makarantar a matsayin kasa da kasa a karkashin tsarin haɗin gwiwar jama'a (PPP). An kuma gudanar da tattaunawa a matakin majalisar ministocin Uganda game da dawo da makarantar zuwa EAC.[7]

A cikin 2014, Majalisar Ministocin EAC ta amince da dawo da shi.[6] A ranar 3 ga Yulin 2014, shugabannin Kenya, Uganda, da Rwanda sun amince da ka'idar sake kafa EACAA a matsayin daya daga cikin cibiyoyin kyawawan halaye a cikin EAC.[8]

Koyaya, saboda gazawar jihohin abokin tarayya don aika da kudade na aiki da ci gaba ga makarantar, Ma'aikatar Uganda, a watan Maris na 2019, ta yanke shawarar karɓar mallaka da gudanar da makarantar.[9]

Ana sa ran makarantar za ta fadada shirye-shiryen horar da ita don haɗawa da matukan jirgi da injiniyoyin kula da jirgin sama daga (a) UPDF Air Force (b) Kamfanin Jirgin Sama na Kasa na Uganda (c) Rundunar Sojan Kasa ta Uganda (d) Rundunar Shugaban kasa ta Uganda (e) Jirgin Sama da Janar. Wannan zai ceci Uganda miliyoyin daloli a musayar kasashen waje, a halin yanzu ana kashewa wajen sayen wannan horo a waje da kasar.
