Imbalu bikin kaciyar jama'a ne da al'ummar Bamasaba na Uganda ke yi.[1] Yana faruwa a wurin al'adun Mutoto (wanda ake kira Mutoto cultural ground) kusa da Mbale a gabashin Uganda.[2] Yawanci yana aiki a cikin wata na 8 na kowace shekara. Ana kyautata zaton ƙasa ce wurin da aka yi wa Mugishu (Mumasaba) na farko kaciya. Wannan al'amari na al'umma yana da raye-raye da abinci. An inganta bikin sosai a matsayin wurin yawon buɗe ido, kuma dubun dubatar mutane ne suka halarta. [3] [4] Imbalu shine farkon fara samar da yara maza zuwa balaga kuma a kowace shekara, ɗaruruwan yara maza masu shekaru 16 zuwa sama suna cancantar shiga Imbalu. [5] A cikin shekarar 2022, kimanin yara maza 6,000 ne suka fara zama balagaggu yayin bikin al'adu da ke faruwa kowace shekara. [6] Wannan shi ne saboda bikin bai faru ba tun a shekarar 2020 lokacin da Uganda ta kulle saboda ɓarkewar cutar ta COVID-19. [6]
