English: Photos from my flight home to Birmingham from Nice.
We had a delay of an hour taking off, as we had to wait for the plane to receive fuel. And (apparently) there was only one fuel truck going around the planes filling them up. While we got on board on time, we took off more than an hour late (meaning we got back an hour later than timetabled). BMI Baby had to be in contact with their office, and the airport authorities. I was going to take a shot on the tarmac before we left. Didn't know we'd have to wait an hour. We moved one row in front - here I had two windows, rather than my prefered one. Had to take something while waiting. Finally a Total fuel truck got to our plane to fill it up with fuel! About time! Passengers on the bus behind couldn't get off their bus to board their plane to Frankfurt, until the fuel truck had gone! I'm not sure why there was a fuel problem or why only one fuel truck was available. Signature Launches Dedicated Nice Fuel Service |
