At the beginning of the No.1 Line Track there is a sign pointing to this stream 140m/5 mins. I could hear the stream flowing and there had been plenty of rain so I thought it may be worth having a look. It took me a lot longer than 5 mins to get down as the track was very slippery! I tried several compositions and exposure times and I quite like this one. Lee100 Polariser. The Matanganui Stream is a tributary of the Pohangina River flowing from the south west of the Ruahine Forest Park into the Pohangina river just to the south of No. 1 Line. |
