Please see the emails below and my new photo taken on 30 July 2011 and posted on Flickr.

Each time I walk or drive past the rear of Rigby House I've seen the bins and a pile of garbage on the roadway. Has there been any progress at all in discovering what is happening and why this eyesore cannot be tackled either by Haringey or Stadium Housing ?

I have a Flickr set called Dirty Dozen. While this pile is not so high and wide as the others, I've added it to the set for sheer persistence.

Dear Councillor Stanton,

Please accept my apologies as the bins referred to in my previous email were part of a separate issue nearby to Albert Place. [Name] A street Enforcement Officer has visited the location and established the place referred to in your email. He has carried out land searches to establish the ownership of the small (bin chamber) alcove area where the rubbish is dumped. He is in the process of writing to the owners to establish if there is any other person who may have an interest in the property including requiring them to secure the chamber / maintain the area.

The bins did previously display a telephone number which was contacted, however the person who answered refused to fully engage stating that they had purchased the telephone number from a previous company and they had nothing to do with the bins.

The Street Enforcement Officer has also liaised with colleagues in Environmental Resources and Veolia on arrangements for the removal of the bins and excess waste. There is an additional bin chamber on the Stoneleigh Road (side) which facilitate waste disposal for the flats. Arrangements will also be made to inform occupants of the block on the correct manner to dispose of their waste.
