Amalia Kahana-Carmon (Hebrew: עמליה כהנא-כרמון) marubucin Isra'ila ne kuma mai sukar adabi.An ba ta lambar yabo ta Isra'ila don adabi a cikin shekarar 2000.

gyara sasheAn haifi Amalia Kahana-Carmon a Kibbutz Ein Harod ranar 18 ga Oktoba,926.Ta ƙaura zuwa Tel Aviv tun tana ƙarama kuma ta yi karatu a Herzliya Hebrew Gymnasium, amma karatunta ya katse sakamakon yakin Falasdinu na 1948 inda ta yi aiki a Negev Brigade na Palmach a matsayin mai sarrafa sigina kuma ta rubuta shahararren telegram don kama Eilat. Bayan dawowarta daga aikin soja, Kahana-Carmon ta halarci Jami'ar Ibrananci da ke Urushalima kuma ta yi karatun kimiyyar laburare da ilimin falsafa.[1] Ba da daɗewa ba bayan kammala karatun ta,ta ƙaura zuwa Switzerland (1951 zuwa 1955) sannan ta koma Ingila (1955 zuwa 1957) kafin ta koma Tel Aviv don yin aiki a matsayin ma’aikacin laburare da marubuci.[2]

gyara sasheKahana-Carmon began writing in the 1950s but is not considered to be part of the Palmah Generation, a movement that dominated the literary scene in the 1940s and 1950s, nor the Generation of Statehood, a counter-movement to the Palmah Generation.[1][3] Her writing differed from these groups in an important way: it centered around the individual rather than national ideals. This does not mean that Kahana-Carmon was not influenced by others; in fact, her writing was shaped by Nehamah Pukhachewsky (1869-1934), who wrote about the struggles of women pioneers in Palestine, and Devorah Baron (1886-1956), who wrote about the victimization of women in male-dominated religious Jewish institutions. Many also believe that Kahana-Carmon’s writing was influenced by Virginia Woolf because of their shared lyrical, poetic style, but Kahana-Carmon commented that this relation was due to similarity in thought rather than any influence.[1]
