Ƙaranbau a turanci (varicella) cuta ce mai saurin yaɗuwa a tsakanin jama'a, kuma ana samun riga-kafin sa ta hanyar allurar ƙwayar cutar varicella-zoster (VZV), cutar tana farawa ne, farkon kamuwa da varicella-zoster varicella-zoster virus na iyalin herpesvirus[1]. Ƙaranbau yana iya haifar da ƙaiƙayi, kurji-kamar bororo.
